Robotic and Automation company based near to Southampton looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for £30 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key responsibilities include 2D mechanical detailing and 3D modelling of robotic automation systems using AutoCAD / Inventor. 3D Modelling of tooling and fixturing for robotic welding systems. Provide technical guidance and assistance to the mechanical build team.
Specific Job Skills will be a solid mechanical design background with experience of detailing automation equipment on jigs and fixtures. Experience of welding technologies, 6-axis robots and practical mechanical fitting skills will be an advantage.
